Camp Minsitry Initiative

Our details of what the 2010 Camp Ministry team will look like are starting to fall into place. We will be having 4 students instead of 5 but we will be going from early may through late August and not only doing ministry at camps but churches too. Check out the details page for more info.

The purpose of the camp ministry initiative is to make disciples and raise up Christian leaders within the EC3. This will be done by providing ministries with high quality staff - the camp ministry team. These college aged students will be trained and travel to different camps, churches and other ministries within their assigned local.

 

Camp Ministry Team

The camp ministry team will fill roles such as life guard, cabin leader/councilor, games leader, small group leader, camp fire leader, music leader and other support roles at these various camps. The focus for the ministry team will be helping campers to discover Jesus and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Time to rest.

Camping ministry is exhausting at the best of times, add in travel and it's even worse. Having times to rest, and of course pray and read the bible will be essential to both the well being of our ministry team and in turn will ensure their ability to continue to minister.
